UB Relics is the name of the University of Botswana basketball teams emergent from a partnership with a Botswana registered women’s basketball club, established in 2001, and the University of Botswana in May 2011. The Club focuses on basketball at both amateur and professional levels mainly for youth at tertiary level education. It participates in the Basketball Botswana league as well as national and international competitions in their various categories. The Club has a management committee, an Executive Committee (EXCO) and membership within and outside the University of Botswana.  The Club mission is to holistically develop student athletes in the sport of basketball and the skill of life, contributing to the peak performance of the basketball community and the citizenship of youth in Botswana.
