HER Sport
HER Sport Program empowers women and girls through health education, leadership, and resilience. It fosters gender equity by providing mentorship, safe spaces, and social asset building while advocating for reduced gender-based violence (GBV). Through training and advocacy, the program enhances participation, visibility, and inclusion, equipping women and girls to lead and excel through sports within their communities.
FaithWorx Productions through FaithWorx Sports has launched a 3-year innovative program to promote gender equity, youth empowerment, and disability inclusion in sports and media. The initiative creates structured opportunities for women and girls to participate in sports, develop leadership skills, and gain visibility in media and administration.
Through leagues, mentorship, media advocacy, and leadership training, the program addresses key challenges such as low participation, lack of representation in sports leadership, and limited sponsorship for women’s sports.
Core Objectives
✔ Increase Participation: Expand access for women and girls in sports through organized leagues, training camps, and community engagement.
✔ Coaching & Leadership Development: Train and mentor female athletes, referees, and coaches to become leaders in sports and administration.
✔ Media Representation: Promote women’s sports through digital platforms, live-streamed games, and storytelling to increase visibility.
✔ Sponsorship & Financial Support: Attract corporate and community sponsors to invest in women’s sports, ensuring long-term sustainability.
✔ Gender Equity Advocacy: Partner with institutions to promote inclusive policies and challenge gender biases in sports and media.
✔ Disability & Youth Inclusion: Ensure that young people and female athletes with disabilities have access to training, competitions, and leadership pathways.
Implementation Plan
Pilot Year (2025): Establish proof of concept with minimalist budget strategies, crowdfunding, local sponsorships, and digital tools.
Expansion (2026-2027): Scale up activities, increase funding, secure long-term sponsorships, and integrate more inclusive programs.
Technology Integration: Utilize digital training platforms, livestream events, and interactive content to maximize engagement and revenue.
Impact & Sustainability
🚀 By 2027, the program aims to have trained over 500 female athletes, 100 coaches, and 50 media professionals while engaging thousands of spectators and online viewers. The model will be scalable and self-sustaining, leveraging sponsorships, ticket sales, merchandise, and media partnerships to ensure long-term impact.
